Amazon set to buy Colis Privé

Amazon is set to buy the French B2C delivery company Colis Privé. The online retailer giant said the transaction is set to take place in the first quarter of 2016. Amazon already has a 25% stake in Colis Privé.

According to local sources, Colis Privé delivers more than 35m parcels a year through its network of subcontracted drivers.

Just over three weeks ago, Amazon France announced the launch of its new Epicerie (Grocery) and Bieres, Vins et Spiritueux (Beer, Wines and Spirits) online stores.
