French food delivery start-up Frichti raises €30m funding

Paris-based meal delivery start-up Frichti has reportedly raised €30m in a new funding round. The funding came from Verlinvest and Felix Capital, as well as existing investors Alven Capital and Idinvest Partners.

Frichti favours the “hands on” business model, where it cooks the meals, takes the orders and makes the deliveries in-house.

According to media reports, the company plans to use the new funding to expand its coverage from beyond Paris into other major European cities.
