Whistl invests in rigid truck fleet

Whistl has signed a leasing and maintenance contract with BRS for 48 Renault D Range rigid trucks. The £2.5m deal is for a mix of 7.5, 18 and 26 tonne trucks.

Whistl announced last month that it had signed a deal for 41 new double deck trailers as part of a wider fleet renewal programme.

Nick Wells, CEO said: “We continue to invest in Whistl to ensure we provide the most efficient and cost-effective service to our customers. Our transport team are an important part of the Whistl operation and I am pleased that we were able to gain the input of our drivers in this significant investment decision.”
