Ukrposhta: Up until today, over 20,000 Ukrainian villages (and some cities near the front lines) did not have pharmacies

With support from Ukrainian Government, Ukrposhta has obtained a pharmacy license to begin selling and delivering medicine to 100% of cities and villages in Ukraine.  Ukrposhta is  starting with Donetsk and Sumy region and will add other regions as the infrastructure grows.

Igor Smelyansky,

“Today was a big day for Ukrposhta and millions of Ukrainians. Up until today, over 20000 Ukrainian villages (and some cities near the front lines) did not have pharmacies, making it very difficult for people to obtain medicine, never mind obtaining them at reasonable prices. But that had ended today.

We’ve been able to launch this project within just over 1 month period and it is about Accessibility. Accessibility to pharmacies, to accessibility to full range of medicine, accessibility to the best prices. Proud of our team and thanks to all who supported us along the way. It will take a few months to work out the processes and IT, prepare certified warehouses, but the first step is always the most important one and the most difficult.”
