Albert Heijn offers track and trace service for grocery deliveries

Netherlands-based Albert Heijn is now offering a track and trace service for its home deliveries of groceries. According to local sources, the grocer is offering its customers forecasted time slots for their deliveries, which may be adjusted to take into account “real time” traffic information and other data.

The customers will receive a final text message half an hour before their groceries are scheduled to arrive.
