Hays announces joint venture with Kimberley Clark and Lever Faberge
Hays Logisitcs announced a joint venture with toilet roll gian Kimberly Clark and Lever Faberge, the aerosol supplier. Hays will provide warehousing in a £20m investment and provide dedicated shared user services to the 2 customers; additional large-volume suppliers are also being sought.
The contract will operate in the Netherlands but has strong relevance to the UK, where the idea of product suppliers to retailers setting up shared-user consolidation points has been long talked about but remains highly innovative in practice.
