Parcelly launches “Agent” service

UK startup Parcelly has introduce a new service, called Parcelly Agent, which enables people with unused storage capacity to generate revenue by providing a Parcelly parcel collection point. Parcelly said that it has already built a 600+ strong network of trusted business owners acting as collection points – and now it anticipates that the Parcelly Agent service will extend its reach further.

Sebastian Steinhauser, Parcelly’s CEO and Founder, said: “Parcelly continues to push boundaries and reinvent the way people receive, send and return parcels – all through our app. Parcelly Agent is a natural extension of our sharing economy based model and will further drive customer control and convenience”.

When individuals sign up as Parcelly Agents (and the company completes a duel diligence check upfront) they specify their business/collection hours and set their preferences via the Parcelly Agent app interface). They will receive a commission for each parcel handled.
