Seabourne purchase fills network gap

Seaboure Group has acquired Scottish courier and transport operator World Xpress Systmes (WX) for an undisclosed sum. The group, which also owns Seabourne Express courier, sees the move as a chance to strategically develop its presence in the Scottish market. Don Hays, Seabournes MD said ‘Acquiring World Xpress fills a major gap in our own UK network, perfectly complementing our own long-established presence in Aberdeen.‘
WX has depots in Glasgow and Edinburgh, from whichit operates domestic and courier services, as well as distribution and freight forwarding activities.
