New chairman for Bonded Warehousekeepers Association

Wincanton’s Clive Brady has been appointed the Chairman of the Bonded Warehousekeepers Association (BWA).

The BWA exists to represent and promote the business interests of its members along with their supply chain and service partners who have been approved to operate a bonded warehouse facility.

Mr Brady, who is the Duty & VAT Manager at Wincanton, takes over the post from Graham Hough.

Speaking about his appointment, Mr Brady said: “The Association plays a key role within the customs and excise arena and I am honoured and proud to become its Chairman for the next 12 months.

“We face changes over the next 12 months within the customs and excise arena, not least the challenges posed by Brexit. The objective of the BWA is to remain close to these events and provide a source of information and knowledge as these evolve and the outcomes are revealed.”
