Prime Villages

To mark the tenth anniversary of its Prime programme in the UK, Amazon is offering free one-year Prime memberships to all households in ten small UK villages.

In a statement issued today (9 November), Amazon said: “The 10 villages, whose residents have been amongst the most frequent Amazon customers over the past decade, will receive Prime membership for one year including existing Prime members, who will receive 12 months on top of their current subscription.”

Prime members receive range of benefits, including unlimited one-day delivery.

The ten “Prime villages” are:

  • Calvert Green, Buckinghamshire
  • Churchover, Warwickshire
  • Daresbury, Cheshire
  • Garvald and Bara, East Lothian
  • Holwell, Hertfordshire
  • Kirkton of Tough, Aberdeenshire
  • Llanwern, Newport
  • Marloes and St. Brides, Pembrokeshire
  • Roughfort, County Antrim
  • Rubane, County Down
