DHL-Trans cooperates with SDB to fight against rivals in China

Shenzhen Development Bank Co., Ltd., a join stock commercial bank, had approved the application for tens of million RMB loan from a logistics company located in Guangzhou City, in a bid to enlarge the shipping market share of domestic private logistics companies.

Sources said that DHL-Trans, a joint venture between DHL and SinoTrans, had decided to make an additional investment of USD 20 million in Chinese logistics market, mainly in Pearl River Delta, Guangzhou City and Hong Kong. DHL is the world’s leading express and logistics company. In addition, UPS, FEDEX, TNT and other renowned logistics enterprises would speeded up to compete for Chinese logistics market.Insiders analyzed that powerful enterprises at home and abroad were now seriously snatching for domestic market. As a result, many small logistics companies would be enforced out of market, so the large logistics enterprises must hook up with each other to fight against large rivals.
