APX Logistics US appoints new Director of Postal Affairs

APX Logistics, a leading provider of business-to-consumer shipping solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chester A. “Chet” King as Director of Postal Affairs.

“Chet’s past experience with the United States Postal Service has prepared him to take on this new and critical role as Director of Postal Affairs for APX Logistics. As a core member of the initial team that organized the Expedited/Package Service Business Unit in 1997, he truly understands the tremendous opportunities that exist in the package delivery market,” said Brad Garberich, CEO of APX Logistics.

King started his career with the United States Postal Service as a city letter carrier in 1983, and has since held positions in sales, marketing and customer service. King completed his career with the United States Postal Service in 2002 and has since been providing logistics and postal consultation to the Florida Gift Fruit Shippers Association (FGFSA). He also served the FGFSA as their Industry Liaison responsible for the management of external relationships, and served as their representative to the Parcel Shippers Association (PSA) and the Mailer’s Technical Advisory Council (MTAC).

King will manage the APX Logistics’ relationship with the United States Postal Service. He will be responsible to ensure that APX Logistics is aligned with the United States Postal Service to best serve customers. As Director of Postal Affairs, he will oversee and work closely with a cross-functional team that will focus on improving service and quality.

King received his undergraduate degree from Columbia College in Columbia MO, and a Masters in Business Administration from The Crummer Graduate School at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
