UK government launches £1.5bn postal services and hybrid mail tender

The UK government is inviting applications for the provision of postal services and hybrid mail in the public sector worth £1.5bn. The document reads: “Buying Solutions as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a Pan Government Collaborative framework agreement for the provision of postal services for use by UK public sector bodies including but not limited to Central Government Departments and their Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, Educational Establishments who have a need for office supplies.”

“The scope of this framework agreement will include but not limited to collection and delivery, consolidation of mail, secure mail, customer direct access, pre-sortation for inbound delivery, PO boxes, response services, re-direction services, undeliverables/gone aways, hybrid mail, mail consultancy, mail audits, document exchange, data cleansing and address management.”

The closing date is 1 February.
