Zendfast launches in Dublin

A new on demand courier connection service called Zendfast has been launched in Dublin. The Zendfast online technology platform uses crowdsourcing to connect businesses or individuals who want to packages with its network of couriers.

The technology offers automated online payment, real time package tracking, mobile phone alerts, delivery confirmation and courier rating. The focus is on fast and same-day deliveries.

Zendfast’s CEO Declan Murray told Post&Parcel that the service was “soft launched” in January and it has officially gone live today (7 February).

Murray, a former director of Irish Express Cargo, added that the service is starting in Dublin, but the company plans to expand to the United Kingdom. Looking further ahead, the company would also like to set up in other major European cities.

“The platform is cloud-based,” Murray, “so it is expandable and transportable.”
