UK Freightroute has joined the Fortec pallet distribution network

Freightroute has joined the Fortec pallet distribution network.

The company runs a pallet operation in its own right between its headquarters in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, and five other depots. It was previously with Pall-Ex for six years.

“Their plans for the future did not fit with our own strategy, ” said Andrew Harrison, Freightroute commercial director.

Northamptonshire- based Freightroute has joined the Fortec pallet network after parting company with Paul- Ex after six years. Commercial director Andrew Harrison, pictured left with Rod Abrahams and driver Derek Green, says: “We are very different to many other operators, particularly as we run our own network, but there are synergies between Fortec and ourselves which will make the relationship work and have the potential of adding value to our business,” Fortec is expected to roll out links into Europe over the next three months.”
