New research from courier comparison website Parcel2Go has revealed that food and flowers are among the most popular ‘delivery related’ online search terms in the UK. “Flower delivery” topped the chart with 110,000 searches a month on average. The one-word, to-the-point search item”delivery” was number two with 40,500 searches a month on average; “McDonald’s delivery” was third; and the “Food delivery” was fourth.

Searches for breakfast, alcohol and coffee delivery were also high on the list.

Les Yates, Global Head of Marketing at Parcel2Go commented: “The demand is clearly there for food and drink to be delivered right to our doorsteps, and we can see this from the growing popularity of companies like UberEats and Deliveroo, which are making our lives infinitely easier and gradually becoming staple apps that we couldn’t live without.”
